Kyoto is easily accessible via Kansai International Airport (KIX). From the airport, the JR Haruka Express takes you directly to Kyoto Station in about 75 minutes. We recommend arriving a few days early to enjoy the beauty of Kyoto in autumn.

Please respect the cultural traditions of the ceremony
In keeping with Japanese cultural traditions, we kindly ask guests to wear modest clothing that does not show too much skin. Covered shoulders and knee-length or longer attire are appreciated.
Smartwatches are not permitted during the ceremony and celebration. However, proper wristwatches are very much encouraged and welcome — they complement formal attire beautifully.
